Position Summary: This position is based in Hyderabad and is responsible for the field service-related activities for South India .This includes technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and engineering upgrades responsible for ensuring scheduled maintenance, upgrades are duly performed where required . Responsibilitie s: Assist with interfacing between the field organization and internal support structure by providing timely onsite technical assistance to Customers, Field Applications Scientist/Specialists, and Territory Account Manag ersInstall, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems in defined territ oryRespond to service requests and ensure customer satisfact ionManage service parts inventory lev elsMaintain up to date customer information, technical files, and appropriate databa sesProvide timely and accurate reports as reques tedWorks in conjunction with other staff to coordinate new system placements, develop leads, promote upgrades and contract renewals e tc.Maintains routine contact with existing customer b aseTravel out of country may be necessary upon request for product train ingDomestic Travelling frequency at around 50%. Requireme nts: BE/BTech Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related degree with knowledge in the biotechnology/biomedical indu stry.Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant exper ienceMust be highly motivated and have strong problem-solving ab ilityExcellent verbal and written communications s killsMust have good technical abil itiesMust be able to work independently and as a team p layerComputer experience and literacy a mustFamiliarity with field optical alignments, robotics, electrical/electronics, and mechanical sy stemsKnowledge and skills typically acquired through previous positions in fast-paced corporate environments which involved responsibility for similar work Preferred Experience/Education/S kills: Experience managing clinical & Diagnostic Customers is a plus
