Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee our accounting operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the strategic financial planning of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting and Bookkeeping:

·       Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements).

·       Oversee tax compliance and ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PT, PF and income tax returns.

·       Reconcile and close monthly accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

·       Assist in audits, both internal and external, and prepare necessary documentation.


Budgeting & Forecasting:

·       Prepare and manage budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate forecasting.

·       Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis to the management.

·       Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions, such as cost-saving opportunities or investment options.


Compliance & Regulatory Management:

·       Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for audits and regulatory reporting.

·       Stay updated on financial and tax laws, ensuring the company remains compliant with any regulatory changes.


Vendor & Client Management:

·       Manage financial aspects of client contracts, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and reconciliation.

·       Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payments and manage vendor accounts efficiently.

·       Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for company transactions and banking needs.


Payroll Management

·       Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements

·       Manage payroll-related compliance and reporting

·       Financial Reporting and Documentation

·       Oversee the finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements

·       Ensure proper documentation of all accounting processes and transactions


Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

·       Professional certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, or MBA in Finance would be advantageous.

·       3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a digital agency or similar industry.

·       Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.

·       Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and advanced skills in MS Excel.

·       Experience with statutory audits and compliance management.

·       Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address financial discrepancies.

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
