What You Will Do:

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Lead position is a hybrid of business and technical consulting with the ability to operate as a digital tech lead focusing on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Lead, you will be responsible for owning and delivering complex cloud-based solutions using SFMC. The candidate will be responsible for owning the architecture and design of complex solution components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing software components
  • End-to-end implementations with SFMC
  • Lead strategy and architecture sessions and communicate design options to clients
  • Manage administration of customer communication campaigns across the cloud, either in each function (email, SMS, Push, Cloud Pages), or leveraging Journey Builder to deliver multi-touch communications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve problems including client data feed issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions.
  • Act as a consultant and technical expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to serve clients’ needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and maintaining quality assurance.
  • Ensure alignment of business requirements with Marketing Solutions standards and policies, and with industry best practices.

Experience - 7+ Years

Technical Skills you bring in:

  • Experience with development technologies such as JAVA and JavaScript
  • Expert in HTML and CSS with a strong background in designing SFMC templates and journeys
  • At least 6-8 years’ experience in Lead relating to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or other SFMC platforms (i.e. Audience Studio-DMP, Datorama, Interaction Studio, etc.)
  • Experience in SFMC implementations and integrations.
  • Experience Salesforce.com or other CRMs a plus
  • Experience in a technical role designing, building, and executing complex automated email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required.
  • Ability to read technical documentation showing cloud stack flow and/or proposed technical architecture and implement.
  • SFMC Email Specialist/Consultant/Developer/Administrator Certifications strongly preferred.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in AMPScript, SSJS, and SQL.
  • Development on all channel dataflow and process flow including Email, SMS, Mobile Push & SDK's
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript implementing Emails, SMS, CloudPages & web is preferred.
