Job Title: Assistant Manager – Strategic PurchasingLocation: Magarpatta, PuneRole Overview:We’re looking for a strong Direct Purchasing & Global Sourcing professional to join our team and drive end-to-end NPD sourcing, cost engineering, and supplier development across global programs.What You’ll Do:- Lead sourcing for NPD/AD/CPD projects from RFQ to SOP- Drive global supplier development, audits & capability assessments- Manage APQP/PPAP, part approvals & build readiness- Run Should-Cost/ZBC models, negotiations & cost-reduction projects- Handle sourcing for Electronics, Plastics, Metals & toolings- Ensure quality, cost, delivery & on-time program executionWhat We’re Looking For:- 5+ years in Direct Purchasing/Strategic Sourcing- Global sourcing experience – MUST- Strong NPD & Vendor Development experience- Expertise in costing for PCB/PCBA, Injection Molding, Castings, Metals- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, VAVE, FMEA- Ability to read drawings & understand manufacturing processes- SAP exposure is a plus
