Position Overview: The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial activities, including order-level tracking, revenue reconciliation, expense management, and detailed data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, proficiency in cross-functional reconciliation, and hands-on experience with multi-channel transactions. They will be expected to provide meaningful financial insights to support strategic decisions, ensure smooth month-end and year-end closes, and maintain robust internal financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reconciliation & Analysis:
Reconcile sales and revenue data across various channels, including online marketplaces, Shopify, and retail operations.
Match bank statements with accounting entries, ensuring all transactions are accurately reflected and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Review logistics, payment gateway settlements, refunds, discounts and credit notes, and chargebacks to ensure correct accounting treatments.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including vendor invoice verification, payment scheduling, and maintaining accurate records of expenses.
Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely invoicing and collections, minimizing outstanding balances and payment delays.
Order & Purchase Level Accuracy:
Track and understand all commercial terms with service providers, partners, and suppliers to ensure correct accounting at order and purchase levels.
Validate inventory purchases and returns, updating accounting systems to reflect stock movements accurately.
Financial Reporting & MIS:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, in compliance with statutory requirements.
Develop comprehensive MIS reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide insights into sales performance, profitability, and cost optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to provide financial insights and align on business objectives.
Compliance & Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GST filings, TDS/TCS, and any other statutory requirements.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an e-commerce, retail, or D2 C environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Tally, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
Familiarity with Shopify, online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart), and payment reconciliation processes is desirable.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary: 3.6 - 4 LPA ( Negotiable upon profile and experience)
