Our client is a fast-growing global data center organization that powers digital transformation and sustainability. With a strong footprint across Asia, they deliver mission-critical infrastructure, colocation, cloud, and interconnect services . As part of their innovation journey, they are looking for a dynamic engineering leader to drive R&D in electrical power systems .

As an Electrical Engineering Innovation Lead , you will spearhead research, innovation, and development in advanced power systems . This role focuses on software-defined power, stranded power management, and simulation-driven innovations that reduce costs and improve efficiency. You will collaborate closely with design and engineering teams, while also introducing cutting-edge solutions to keep data centers future-ready.

Lead end-to-end R&D initiatives in power systems engineering and software-defined power
Partner with design & engineering teams for new developments, infrastructure upgrades, and rectifications
Drive cost optimization and energy efficiency through innovative electrical solutions
Perform modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB / COMSOL
Conduct quarterly reviews of technologies and commercial viability to refine R&D strategy

Experience & Qualifications :
D. in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering specialization preferred)
Experience: 10+ years in Electrical Engineering, R&D, and Power Systems Design
Hands-on expertise in MATLAB and COMSOL for simulation and modeling
Strong exposure to electrical distribution systems, SCADA tools, and condition monitoring
Prior data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience preferred
