Position: Mechanical Engineer / Draftsman – Medical Device Product Development


Location : Kirti Nagar (On-Site)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer/Draftsman to support our medical device product development team. The ideal candidate will have expert proficiency in SolidWorks and be capable of performing a variety of essential tasks, including solid modelling, design changes, drawing revisions, and document management. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical device product development and regulatory standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Solid Modelling and CAD Design: Create, modify, and update 3D solid models for various components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Design Changes: Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to implement design changes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Drawing Revisions and Management: Prepare and revise technical drawings, ensuring all changes are documented and version-controlled. Maintain organized drawing records and comply with document management protocols.
  • Product Documentation: Support the creation and updating of technical documentation, including design files, specifications, and other relevant materials.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all designs and documentation align with medical device industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with in-house engineers and project managers, providing updates and actively participating in team meetings as needed.



Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks with experience in solid modeling, complex assemblies, and detailed drawings.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering, drafting, or product design in the medical device or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ability to apply it effectively.
  • Experience with drawing and document management systems.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is a must.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
  • Experience with other CAD software or FEA tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under tight timelines.


This is a work from office position on US hours , ideal for a skilled professional seeking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative medical device development team.
