To spur our intrinsic growth, we are looking for a HEAD MARKETING – INDIAN LANGUAGES, based at our Noida office. The portfolio comprises 16 television channels and their corresponding digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for 15 Indian languages channels
B2 B marketing - Identify target audiences and tailor marketing efforts to reach and engage them effectively.
Brand Management:
Enhance News18 India’s brand image and establish leadership
in the media landscape.
Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms.
IP’s and events:
Ideate, conceptualize and execute IP’s and events that’s enhances the brand image of the channel
Work with editorial and sales team to ideate brand led events.
Digital Marketing:
Oversee online marketing efforts on email campaigns, and social media strategies.
Utilize analytics to assess campaign performance and optimize future marketing efforts.
Channel Product Strategy:
Collaborate with editorial teams to create compelling content that drives traffic and engagement.
Promote multimedia content, including podcasts, videos, and articles, to maximize audience reach.
Audience Development:
Develop initiatives to grow the subscriber base, focusing on both digital and print audiences.
Analyze audience insights to inform marketing strategies and improve user experience.
Budget Management:
Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Track and report on the return on investment for marketing campaigns.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Encourage professional development and skill enhancement within the team.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as editorial, sales, and technology, to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
Partner with external agencies and vendors as needed.
Qualification:
Postgraduate in marketing or strategy with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in brand and consumer marketing roles across B2 C ecommerce and Internet companies.
Digital first approach to manage cross functional interactions with Editorial and Product teams for handling B2 B and B2 C brand and promotional activities.
