Job Title: Professor of Nursing (Teaching and Dual Role) Location: Subharti University, Meerut Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary: Subharti University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Professor of Nursing, to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education, scholarship, and service. Qualifications: Required: Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DNP) in Nursing or a closely related field is mandatory (Specialised Branch - Ph.D. in Medical Surgical Nursing / Pediatrics Nursing / Mental Health Nursing) Current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility for licensure in (State)). Significant teaching experience in teaching of PG students. A record of scholarly publications and research contributions. Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes. Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills. Preferred: Experience with online and hybrid nursing education. Active involvement in nursing organizations and professional associations. Demonstrated success in securing research grants and funding. Specialization in (specific area, e.g., critical care, public health, pediatrics, etc.). Key Responsibilities: Teach and develop courses in nursing at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Conduct and publish high-quality research in nursing and healthcare. Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development.
