Job Title: Professor of Nursing (Teaching and Dual Role) Location: Subharti University, Meerut Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary: Subharti University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Professor of Nursing, to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education, scholarship, and service. Qualifications: Required: - Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DNP) in Nursing or a closely related field is mandatory (Specialised Branch - Ph.D. in Medical Surgical Nursing / Pediatrics Nursing / Mental Health Nursing) - Current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility for licensure in [State]). - Significant teaching experience in teaching of PG students. - A record of scholarly publications and research contributions. - Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes. - Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills. Preferred: - Experience with online and hybrid nursing education. - Active involvement in nursing organizations and professional associations. - Demonstrated success in securing research grants and funding. - Specialization in [specific area, e.g., critical care, public health, pediatrics, etc.]. Key Responsibilities: - Teach and develop courses in nursing at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. - Conduct and publish high-quality research in nursing and healthcare. - Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development.
