Job Title: Professor of Nursing (Teaching and Dual Role)Location: Subharti University, MeerutJob Type: Full-TimePosition Summary:Subharti University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Professor of Nursing, to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education, scholarship, and service.Qualifications:Required:Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DNP) in Nursing or a closely related field is mandatory (Specialised Branch - Ph.D. in Medical Surgical Nursing / Pediatrics Nursing / Mental Health Nursing)Current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility for licensure in [State]).Significant teaching experience in teaching of PG students.A record of scholarly publications and research contributions.Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes.Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills.Preferred:Experience with online and hybrid nursing education.Active involvement in nursing organizations and professional associations.Demonstrated success in securing research grants and funding.Specialization in [specific area, e.g., critical care, public health, pediatrics, etc.].Key Responsibilities:Teach and develop courses in nursing at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.Conduct and publish high-quality research in nursing and healthcare.Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development.
