We're growing fast, and as search evolves with AI-driven engines , we need a specialist who can help us dominate both traditional search (SEO) and the new frontier of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) . We are looking for a SEO & GEO Specialist who understands the nuances of ranking in Google Search today, while also staying ahead of the curve on AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and future LLM-based platforms.

In this role, you'll design and execute strategies to ensure Astro247 is discoverable, trusted, and surfaced prominently in both classic search results and AI-driven answers .

What You'll Do

  • Own keyword research, content strategy, on-page & technical SEO.
  • Optimize site structure, schema, and backlinks for maximum reach.
  • Drive organic traffic growth across multiple platforms.
  • Develop strategies to ensure Astro247 appears in AI-generated answers on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other LLM-powered engines.
  • Experiment with prompt-influence optimization, structured content, and authoritative signals to guide AI retrieval.
  • Track emerging trends in GEO and deploy rapid experiments to stay ahead.
  • Use tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and emerging GEO-tracking tools to measure impact.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and growth playbooks.
  • Work closely with content, product, and marketing teams to align efforts.

What we are looking for:

  • 2–6 years of proven SEO experience with measurable results.
  • Awareness (or hands-on experimentation) with Generative AI search engines.
  • Strong understanding of content optimization, structured data, and entity-based search.
  • Growth mindset with curiosity to test, measure, and scale GEO tactics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in app store optimization (ASO).
  • Knowledge of astrology, spirituality, or consumer lifestyle apps.
  • Familiarity with tools like Perplexity Labs, ChatGPT Browsing SEO tests, or custom scraping/LLM evaluation workflows.
