Role Summary

AI-Powered Search Dominance Specialist

Join a fast-paced startup that leverages technology to blend with ancient wisdom, offering a unique and engaging astrology experience.

We are seeking an experienced SEO & GEO specialist who can drive organic traffic growth across multiple platforms and ensure Astro247 is discoverable, trusted, and surfaced prominently in both classic search results and AI-driven answers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies for maximum reach and optimization of site structure, schema, and backlinks.
  • Drive organic traffic growth across multiple platforms, using tools like GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and emerging GEO-tracking tools to measure impact.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and future LLM-based platforms.
  • Work closely with content, product, and marketing teams to align efforts and deploy rapid experiments to stay ahead in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Requirements
  • 2–6 years of proven SEO experience with measurable results.
  • Awareness or hands-on experimentation with Generative AI search engines.
  • Strong understanding of content optimization, structured data, and entity-based search.
  • Growth mindset with curiosity to test, measure, and scale GEO tactics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in app store optimization (ASO).
  • Knowledge of astrology, spirituality, or consumer lifestyle apps.
  • Familiarity with tools like Perplexity Labs, ChatGPT Browsing SEO tests, or custom scraping/LLM evaluation workflows.
