Position Overview
We are hiring a Control Panel-Automation System Costing Executive to join our team. This critical role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and quotations for control panels, automation systems, and Siemens solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in industrial automation system costing, material pricing, and project proposal preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Analysis and Estimation :
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for control panels, DG synchronization systems, and automation projects.
- Analyze labor, materials, and component costs to ensure precise pricing.
- Quotation Development :
- Create and deliver detailed project quotations tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to align technical and financial details.
- Vendor Coordination :
- Coordinate with vendors to source cost-effective components and materials.
- Evaluate supplier quotations for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Optimization and Reporting :
- Work with production and engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on costing strategies and trends to senior management.
- Market Research :
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing for industrial automation systems.
- Update costing models based on market insights and project complexities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical background.
- Experience : Minimum 3-5 years in costing for control panels and industrial automation systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Siemens automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
- Proficiency in costing tools, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
