Job Summary:

Lubi Electronics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in solar products, specifically in the PM Kusum Scheme, solar water pumps, and solar pump tenders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development, sales strategies, and managing key accounts to ensure the company's growth in the renewable energy sector. This role demands a strong background in managing and executing solar-based sales projects, tender processes, and business expansion efforts. Candidates from Ahmedabad are preferred for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities in the solar water pump and renewable energy markets. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, distributors, contractors, and customers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for solar water pumps and related products, with a focus on the PM Kusum Scheme and solar pump tenders. Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining profitability.
  • Tender Management: Lead the preparation and submission of tenders for solar pump projects. Ensure compliance with all government and regulatory requirements for tenders in the renewable energy sector.
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Provide product recommendations, after-sales support, and resolve any customer concerns.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Analyze data and develop strategies to position the company’s solar products effectively in the marketplace.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, market trends, and key metrics. Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights into sales forecasts, achievements, and opportunities for growth.
  • Team Leadership: Work closely with the sales team to ensure objectives are met, while mentoring and coaching team members for professional growth and success.
  • Product Knowledge & Training: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in solar technology and the PM Kusum Scheme. Conduct training sessions for the sales team and key stakeholders on product features, advantages, and benefits.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales and business development, with a strong focus on solar water pumps, PM Kusum Scheme, and tender management.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector, especially solar products, water pumps, and relevant government schemes.
  • Tender & Proposal Experience: Proven expertise in managing solar pump tenders, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Business Development Skills: Strong ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and grow the company’s market presence.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring a sales team, fostering a collaborative work environment, and driving team performance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA is a plus.

  • Experience working with government schemes like PM Kusum, or other renewable energy initiatives.
  • Strong network within the renewable energy sector, including government bodies, contractors, and distributors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, certifications, and compliance procedures in the solar industry.
