Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our Nana Chiloda and Kadadara plants. This role requires a hands-on individual with expertise in electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing systems to manage routine and preventive maintenance, resolve machine breakdowns, and coordinate with internal and external teams for effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Routine Plant Maintenance: Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Breakdown Maintenance: Address machine breakdowns promptly while minimizing downtime and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance plans to improve equipment lifespan and reduce future breakdowns.
- Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with various departments and outside agencies to complete maintenance tasks and projects on time.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of technicians/ITI or engineers and ensure they follow best practices in maintenance procedures and safety standards.
- ERP/SAP Maintenance Module: Utilize ERP/SAP systems for plant maintenance activities and document all tasks, breakdowns, and repairs within the system.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and submit regular MIS reports tracking key metrics, progress, and issues related to plant maintenance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance or related engineering fields, with hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing maintenance. At least 2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role managing a small team of technicians or engineers.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plant machinery, electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing systems. Proficient in ERP/SAP plant maintenance modules. Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹1200000 - ₹1800000 depending on experience and qualifications.
