Job Summary: We seek an experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer to oversee Nana Chiloda and Kadadara plants' operations, ensuring efficient maintenance, managing breakdowns, and coordinating with internal and external teams.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • We need you to plan, coordinate, and execute routine plant maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Attend to machine breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime while adhering to preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance plans to extend equipment lifespan and reduce potential breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., production, procurement) and outside agencies (e.g., contractors, vendors) for timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Lead planning and execution of new setups and project expansions, ensuring timely completion of related maintenance and installation work.
  • You will supervise and guide a team of 3-4 technicians/ITI or engineers, promoting best practices in maintenance procedures and safety standards.
  • Utilize ERP/SAP systems for plant maintenance activities, documenting and tracking all maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and repairs within the system.
  • Prepare and submit regular MIS reports, tracking key metrics, progress, and any issues related to plant maintenance.
  • Maintain clear communication with management, staff, and external contractors, providing updates on maintenance activities, progress on tasks, and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance or related engineering fields, with hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, managing a small team of technicians or engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of plant machinery, electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in ERP/SAP plant maintenance modules.
  • Able to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
