Position Overview: 

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills and a strong understanding of human resources functions. The Head of HR will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives. They will also oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's overall strategic objectives. Provide strategic guidance and counsel to senior management on HR-related matters. 
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Develop effective recruitment strategies, oversee the hiring process, and ensure the company maintains a diverse and skilled workforce. 
  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by promoting a culture of open communication, fairness, and respect. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner. 
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms. Develop and implement performance improvement plans as necessary. 
  • Training and Development: Identify training and development needs within the organization and develop programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Implement initiatives to support career growth and succession planning. 
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 

 

  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and proactively address compliance issues. 
  • HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, employee records management, and HRIS administration. Streamline HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and morale. Measure employee satisfaction and implement strategies to address areas for improvement. 
  • HR Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Master's degree preferred. 
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role 
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. 
  • Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
