We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our construction management team. This is a remote role, with collaboration across project teams based in the US. The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day project activities, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. This role is designed for professionals with a strong background in construction management who are eager to grow into leadership roles.Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Scheduling- Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules.- Track milestones, critical paths, and update progress reports.- Support resource allocation and coordination with subcontractors and vendors.Documentation & Reporting- Maintain and track project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, permits, and change orders.- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards for client and management review.- Ensure compliance with company standards and client-specific documentation needs.Site Coordination (Remote Oversight)- Collaborate with site supervisors and field teams to monitor project execution.- Address issues related to quality, safety, and progress, escalating to the Project Manager when needed.- Conduct virtual site meetings and follow-ups with US-based site personnel.Budget & Procurement Support- Assist in preparing purchase requests, reviewing vendor quotes, and monitoring procurement timelines./- Track expenses against budget and flag variances for corrective action.Stakeholder & Client Communication- Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, and internal teams.- Support in preparing meeting minutes, presentations, and follow-up action trackers.Risk & Quality Management- Assist in identifying project risks and maintaining a risk register.- Support QA/QC documentation and ensure adherence to project specifications.Other Duties- Participate in project close-out activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and documentation.- Handle other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager.Shift & Work Details- Work Mode: Remote (Work From Home, with occasional site visits if required)- Shift Timing: US Shift (Evening/Night IST to align with US project stakeholders)- Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experienceQualifications- Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.- 3–6 years of relevant construction project management experience.- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar).- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project workflows.- Experience in US-based projects preferred.- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
