Role Overview:

As a US-Certified CPA at Simplia Inc., you’ll play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced accounting solutions tailored for small to mid-sized businesses. You’ll leverage your expertise to integrate AI-driven tools, optimize financial processes, and ensure compliance with US accounting standards. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative initiative in the accounting technology space while working remotely with a global team.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovate Accounting Solutions:


  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered accounting systems for small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Collaborate with product teams to integrate automation, analytics, and compliance features into Simplia’s accounting solutions.


Financial Leadership and Compliance:


  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Provide strategic insights to improve financial reporting, auditing, and compliance processes.


Technology Integration:


  • Work closely with developers and data scientists to build seamless accounting workflows and tools.
  • Ensure Simplia’s solutions meet global best practices and address real-world financial challenges.


Customer-Centric Approach:


  • Understand the unique needs of small to mid-sized business clients and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them optimize their financial strategies.


Knowledge Sharing and Team Collaboration:


  • Mentor internal teams on best practices in accounting and emerging industry trends.
  • Support the creation of training materials and provide insights into accounting technologies.


Qualifications:

  • US CPA Certification: A must-have for this role.
  • Experience with Accounting Technologies: Proven track record of designing or implementing next-generation accounting solutions, including automation and AI-powered tools.
  • Strong Knowledge of US GAAP: Deep understanding of US accounting principles, SEC reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in cloud-based accounting tools, ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), and AI-driven solutions.
  • Global Perspective: Previous experience with multinational teams or working in a remote, global environment is highly valued.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in accounting, auditing, or financial consulting roles, preferably with a focus on technology-driven solutions.
