Job Summary: The Database Management L2 Support role provides advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance for Oracle database. This role involves handling escalated issues, ensuring database performance, and supporting critical incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, query optimization, and connectivity problems.
  • Perform database administration tasks, including backup and restore management, replication, patching, and security updates.
  • Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, and database security settings.
  • Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify and resolve performance issues, escalating to L3 as needed.
  • Document procedures, solutions, and best practices, contributing to a knowledge base for the team.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database stability, scalability, and high availability.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning and execution, as well as with database migration activities.

Required Experience: 3-5 Years of Experience in Database administration
