About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Modeler with deep expertise in Snowflake-based Data Warehousing and a strong understanding of the retail domain, particularly in the clothing and apparel industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, refining, and optimizing data models to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making across multiple brands.About the Role: Sr. Data Modeler ModelMode of Work: Hybrid (3 days WFO, 2 Days WFH).Location: HyderabadExperience: 4-7 yearsMust Have: Data Modeler, Snowflake, Data Warehouse. with experience in retail industry (mainly into clothing)Responsibilities:- Design and develop scalable, high-performance data models using Snowflake for enterprise-level data warehousing solutions.- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models.- Lead source-to-target mapping, dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), and metadata management.- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and alignment across systems through robust data reconciliation and validation frameworks.- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.- Support ongoing report development and data validation efforts across multiple retail brands.- Provide domain expertise in retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and sales analytics.- Document data models, definitions, and business rules for cross-functional understanding.- Mentor junior data modellers and analysts.Qualifications:- Proven experience in Snowflake data modelling and architecture.- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional modelling.- Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).- Hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).- Deep domain knowledge in retail, especially clothing/apparel — including product hierarchies, SKU-level data, inventory management, and sales performance.- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Required Skills:- Proven experience in Snowflake data modelling and architecture.- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional modelling.- Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).- Hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).- Deep domain knowledge in retail, especially clothing/apparel — including product hierarchies, SKU-level data, inventory management, and sales performance.- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills:- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Equal Opportunity Statement:- We are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
