Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Alliance Lead to drive HCLTech’ s SAP Business in APJ (India, Asia Pacific & Japan). The ideal candidate should possess both a SAP business/sales, Presales background that enables them to engage at the SAP Market unit and SAP field level, and SAP regional leadership to establish and grow business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with SAP Field, Market Units, SAP Partner management & HCL Practices. Candidate should demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships. Interact with internal global alliance teams centrally to leverage and drive partnership excellence in the field

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years over all work experience plus experience in SAP (Presales/ Sales, technical, Functional)
  • The position, based in APJ (India) to operate as an overlay for the region as part of a global team/ecosystem
  • Rich and diverse background and understanding of Global SAP Business, regional Market Unit, driving Go-to-market motion and partnership management
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • Very high energy level with a positive disposition; self-starter who is customer focused
  • Ability to cross collaborate across HCL Practices, Industry units to drive synergies
  • Well versed with regional SAP Market Unit structure, SAP product portfolio, SAP industry business units
  • Understanding & Experience in designing & implementing SAP Enterprise architecture solutions to align IT strategy with business goals
  • Understanding of SAP RISE license management model.
  • Experience in SAP LeanIX & Signavio process mapping is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and execute business development plans, creating long-term positioning and sales strategies utilizing HCL’s key solution propositions across major business verticals.
  • Work and collaborate extensively and closely with client partner community and various practice teams within HCL
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and provide architecture insights.
  • Develop, define, and execute joint SAP marketing and GTM (Go-To-Market) programs with SAP and HCL.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in driving programs, GTM plans, and strategy for the region.
  • Drive joint business opportunities with sales, presales, and leadership teams.
  • Increase joint Focused Partner Revenue (FPR) for SAP and license resell through VAR (Value-Added Reseller) agreements.
  • Serve as a lead in the Business Development team, defining and delivering HCL’s overall go-to-market strategy from the SAP EU perspective.
  • Coach, sell, and influence colleagues and partners on HCL’s SAP EU value and offerings.
  • Set a strategic business development plan for APJ (India & rest of APJ) in alignment with HCL’s strategic direction.
  • Manage and close a pipeline of business associated with the Partner and Internal sales teams from different LOBs (Lines of Business).
  • Drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with SAP partner management and plan for assigned sales numbers.
  • Take the product proposition to the assigned markets or verticals/sub-verticals.
