We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager with expertise in Channel Partner Development to lead and expand our sales efforts through direct sales and by fostering strong relationships with channel partners. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing channel partner networks, and ensuring our products and services reach a broader audience through strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets in assigned territories or markets.
• Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including prospecting, lead generation, deal negotiation, and closure.
• Identify new business opportunities and create customized proposals to address customer needs.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
Channel Partner Development:
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the company’s reach and market presence.
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners to ensure their alignment with company goals.
• Train and enable partners to effectively represent the company’s products and services, ensuring they achieve their sales objectives.
• Work with partners to co-develop business plans and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue potential.
• Prospect, qualify, and engage with new channel partners.
• Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering win-win outcomes.
• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners
Collaboration and Coordination:
• Collaborate with Marketing to create campaigns that support sales and partner activities.
• Work closely with the Product and Customer Success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
Market Insights and Strategy:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for growth.
• Provide feedback from partners and customers to influence product development and strategy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and leverage them to improve sales and partner strategies.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong understanding of direct sales and channel sales models.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans while managing day-to-day operations.
• Proficient in CRM tools and sales management software.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
