Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Lead to join our team, focusing on the handling, management, and quality control of textile fibres and yarns. In this role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of operational tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials from receipt to shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of textile materials, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Job Description/Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations: 1. Inventory Management: Manage the intake, storage, and dispatch of textile fibres and yarns. This includes performing regular stock checks, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records using our inventory management system. 2. Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet our quality standards. Report any non-conforming materials to management immediately. 3. Logistics & Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labelling and documentation. Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pickups and track deliveries, guaranteeing timely and secure transport of goods. 4. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including receipts, shipments, and quality reports. Generate regular reports on inventory levels, material usage, and operational performance. 5. Warehouse Operations: Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing storage spaces, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and operating light machinery such as forklifts (certification may be required). 6. Supplier & Customer Communication: Liaise with suppliers regarding incoming shipments and quality issues. Communicate with the sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and address any material-related queries. 2. Reporting and Documentation: ● Upkeep and maintain documents and data as needed for meeting compliance wrt workforce, health , safety and environment. ● Log KPI data into our application to monitor performance. ● Managing, monitoring and reviewing the centre operations periodically. ● Ensuring timely, concise and accurate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on prescribed formats and applications. General responsibilities: 1. Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritisation of workload skills. 2. Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company. 3. Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security. 4. Willingness to travel frequently across India, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or company. 5. Work closely with PFC verticals and Partners. Page 2 of 3 Experience and Qualifications Required: 1. Education: An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., textiles, supply chain) is preferred. 2. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience specifically with textile fibres, yarns, or fabrics sourcing. Skills: 1. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 2. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 3. Basic knowledge of textile materials and quality control principles. 4. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
