We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Sales Manager with a solid background in Ed Tech and over 10 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and enhancing our sales efforts, specifically focusing on strategy, team development, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to Ed Tech, aligning with market trends and company objectives.
Revenue Generation: Drive revenue through effective lead generation, conversion, and strategic client relationship management.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting goals, providing feedback, and developing skill enhancement programs.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new business opportunities, assess competitive landscape, and improve positioning strategies.
Client Engagement: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing personalized solutions and fostering trust in our products and services.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and content teams to create tailored solutions and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics to ensure targets are met, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in sales, with a proven track record in the Ed Tech industry, preferably focused on online education or digital learning platforms.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Sales Acumen: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, including B2 B and B2 C sales strategies within Ed Tech.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring sales teams, with a focus on goal setting and performance optimization.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, data analytics, and Ed Tech platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM software and data analytics.
Strong network within the education or healthcare sectors is a plus.
