About the Role Ananda Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Manager to establish and manage the HR function for a fast-growing startup managing multiple brands. This is a hands-on role involving a wide variety of tasks, from driving the end-to-end recruitment process to fostering company culture and developing HR policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical hiring and a passion for building HR processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding :
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Actively engage with hiring channels like Linked In, university recruitment, and others to build a pool of quality candidates.
Handle technical hiring for roles in graphic/motion design, video editing, content writing, software engineering, and web development.
HR Policy & Employee Relations :
Develop and implement core HR policies in alignment with the founders’ vision.
Foster a positive and engaging company culture.
Manage employee relations and address grievances effectively.
HR Operations & Talent Branding :
Handle documentation and payroll management.
Build a strong employer brand on Linked In to attract top talent.
Continuously improve the hiring process to secure the best candidates efficiently.
Performance Management :
Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
Monitor and improve employee satisfaction and retention rates.
Qualifications Education : Degree in Business with a major in HR or equivalent.
Experience :
At least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in technical hiring for creative and tech roles.
Certifications : HR-related certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are a plus.
Skills :
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with HR tools and software.
Familiarity with labor laws and compliance.
Ability to manage recruitment pipelines and build effective screening processes.

Build a streamlined, efficient recruitment pipeline that delivers high-quality candidates quickly.
Maintain high employee morale and strong alignment between the founders’ expectations and employee performance.
