Detailed Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Develop Sales forecasts for North India, and Inventory management strategies with supply chain manager and Regional Sales Team.
Facilitate in preparation of annual Sales budgets and draw action plans for achieving the same. Manage relevant reporting of Management and financial information for the sales and marketing activities in toto.
Review & action plans to monthly variances in the sales
Market Research & obtaining potential business/Customer leads/Business development strategies
Appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison with customers and operations to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
Developing Business plans (short-term, medium-term and long term)
Detailed Sales Analysis and Periodical Management Reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual) as per corporate norms.
Addressing Customer Calls and maintaining a track record.
Field Visits to Customers in the assigned territory.
Effective management of account receivables in accordance with Company’s trade policies and safeguarding Company’s credit policy.
Managing Sales data base on periodical basis.
Propose any acquisition opportunities with detailed analytical report to synergize Company’s Sales Growth.
Plan and implement sales and customer retention and development.
Manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures, and policy.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Education: Engineering Graduate
MBA(Marketing) Preferred
Experience: At least 10-12 years’ experience in sales/Business development in B2 B domain in Plastic Packaging industry
Experience working with FMCG, MNC’s,
Superior analytical skills are required to develop sales forecast, annual budget proposals.
Skills: Excellent in formulating and aligning of business strategy related to Sales & marketing, accurate forecasts.
Must be strong leader, efficient organizer.
