Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Location: Experience Required: 7+ Years
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead and drive operational excellence across our technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and people management skills, deep technical proficiency, and the ability to guide teams through complex projects while ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Lead, mentor, and coach SRE engineers and senior SRE engineers to build a high-performing team culture.
Foster professional development and career growth through continuous feedback and guidance.
Drive the adoption of cutting-edge tools, automation, and best practices in site reliability engineering.
Operational & Project Management:
Manage and oversee complex, high-impact projects with advanced project management skills.
Direct initiatives that enhance system reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
Risk Management & Crisis Handling:
Conduct risk assessments and design strategies to mitigate potential threats.
Function as the key link between the SRE team and other organizational units, harmonizing goals and ensuring smooth collaboration.
Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver highly available and performant systems.
Drive long-term operational excellence through strategic initiatives that align with business objectives.
7+ years of progressive professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related technical leadership roles.
~ Advanced technical expertise in modern cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation frameworks.
~ Strong project management skills with experience in Agile/DevOps practices.
~ Adept at risk assessment, incident management, and operational crisis handling.
