Within the Global Supply Organization are included, Research & Development, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain Management and Logistics.Department: Supply ChainDesignation: Manager – Replenishment Planning (Supply Chain)Reporting to: Supply Chain Lead – Africa OperationsLocation: Turbhe (Navi Mumbai)Role Type: Individual ContributorWhat you become a part of:We are seeking a data-driven supply chain professional to manage pharmacy replenishment norms and distribution planning for our network of company-owned pharmacies in Africa. Based in India, this role will be responsible for designing replenishment frameworks, setting stocking norms, analyzing demand/sales data, and monitoring compliance by the in-country distribution teams.The role is central to ensuring product availability, minimizing expiries, and driving supply chain efficiency in our retail pharmacy network.What to expect:Replenishment Norms & Frameworks- Define and continuously refine stocking norms, safety stock levels, and replenishment cycles for each pharmacy based on sales velocity and product criticality.- Develop and maintain guidelines for assortment management and seasonal demand variations.Data Analytics & Insights- Analyze pharmacy sales, consumption, and stock movement data to create replenishment models and forecast requirements.- Track KPIs such as stock-outs, fill rates, inventory turns, and expiries across the pharmacy network.- Provide actionable insights to country supply chain and operations teams to improve availability and reduce waste.Performance Monitoring & Governance- Monitor adherence of local distribution teams to defined replenishment norms.- Highlight exceptions (stock-outs, excess stock, expiries) and initiate corrective action with in-country stakeholders.- Drive standardization of replenishment processes across geographies.Collaboration & Business Partnering- Work closely with Demand Planning, Sales Operations, Finance, and Quality teams to align replenishment strategies with business objectives.- Support country supply chain managers with data-driven decision-making and performance dashboards.- Act as the central supply chain “control tower” for last-mile pharmacy replenishment.Essential qualifications, experience, and skills:- Graduate / Post-graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field. MBA preferred.- 4–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, retail replenishment, or distribution analytics, preferably in pharma retail, healthcare distribution, or FMCG retail.- Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory modeling.- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/Power BI (SQL/Python/R a plus).- Understanding of pharma retail compliance (expiry, batch management, FEFO) is desirable.Key Skills- Analytical and structured problem-solving.- Strong data modeling and dashboarding ability.- Business acumen in balancing availability with working capital.- Ability to influence stakeholders remotely across geographies.- Discipline in process design and governance.Success Measures / KPIs- Accuracy of replenishment norms and models.- Stock availability at pharmacies (% fill rate, stock-out rate).- Inventory turnover vs. expiry losses.- Adherence to replenishment norms by country operations teams.- Improvement in forecasting accuracy and working capital efficiency.Work Environment:- This position is based in an office environment with occasional travel to manufacturing sites, suppliers, and other company locations as required.- The role may require extended hours during peak periods or in response to urgent supply chain issues.
