Sales Associate (Intern)

Sales Associate (Intern) Are you passionate about selling products or services to prospective customers? If your response is a resounding yes, then we are hunting for you.

As Enterprise Sales Associate, your primary goal will be identifying and reaching out to potential enterprise-level clients who may benefit from the products or services offered by the company. In addition, your role will be establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within target enterprises and creating and delivering compelling sales presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of the products or services. This may involve showcasing how the offering can meet the enterprise's strategic objectives.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Builds business by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
  • Follow and achieve department’s sales goals with team help on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales with team help.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
  • Cross sell products.
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
  • Build productive trust relationships with client.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities)

Educational Qualification & Skills Required

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Fast learner and passion for sales.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • BBA/ BBM/ MBA degree.
