We are looking for a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and implementing advanced ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the organization by driving platform enhancements, ensuring robust integration, and mentoring a team of developers while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development and Maintenance

  • Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow modules, applications, and workflows to address complex business needs.
  • Customize ServiceNow to include scripting, policies, workflows, and integration solutions.
  • Implement and support major ServiceNow modules such as ITSM , ITOM , ITBM , HRSD , CSM , SecOps , and GRC .

Integrations and Automation

  • Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST , SOAP APIs , and Integration Hub .
  • Automate processes and workflows using Flow Designer , Orchestration , and custom scripting.

Optimization and Scalability

  • Optimize platform performance by streamlining workflows, debugging scripts, and implementing best practices.
  • Provide solutions to scale ServiceNow implementations across the enterprise.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Act as a technical lead and mentor for junior developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement Agile and DevOps practices for ServiceNow development.

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure platform security and compliance by implementing ACLs , encryption, and role-based access controls.
  • Perform regular audits and maintain documentation for configurations, changes, and upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience :
  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and administration.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript , AngularJS , HTML , CSS , and ServiceNow's custom scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes).
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture , table structures, and system configurations.
  • Proficiency with Flow Designer , Integration Hub , and Orchestration .
  • Experience in ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

Certifications :

Mandatory :ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Preferred

  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or HRSD).
  • Soft Skills :
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of advanced ServiceNow modules like SecOps , GRC , or Vendor Management .
  • Familiarity with integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in AI/ML capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

  • Relocation Support : Open to candidates from other locations willing to relocate to Pune.
  • Joining Timeline : Immediate joiners or those who can join within 10–15 days will be given preference.
