Key Responsibilities
Platform Development and Maintenance
Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow modules, applications, and workflows to address complex business needs.
Customize ServiceNow to include scripting, policies, workflows, and integration solutions.
Implement and support major ServiceNow modules such as ITSM , ITOM , ITBM , HRSD , CSM , SecOps , and GRC .
Integrations and Automation
Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST , SOAP APIs , and Integration Hub .
Automate processes and workflows using Flow Designer , Orchestration , and custom scripting.
Optimization and Scalability
Optimize platform performance by streamlining workflows, debugging scripts, and implementing best practices.
Provide solutions to scale ServiceNow implementations across the enterprise.
Technical Leadership and Collaboration
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Act as a technical lead and mentor for junior developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement Agile and DevOps practices for ServiceNow development.
Governance and Compliance
Ensure platform security and compliance by implementing ACLs , encryption, and role-based access controls.
Perform regular audits and maintain documentation for configurations, changes, and upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience :
6–10 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and administration.
Technical Skills :
Strong expertise in JavaScript , AngularJS , HTML , CSS , and ServiceNow's custom scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes).
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture , table structures, and system configurations.
Proficiency with Flow Designer , Integration Hub , and Orchestration .
Experience in ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
Certifications :
Mandatory :ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Preferred
ITIL v4 Foundation
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or HRSD).
Soft Skills :
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of advanced ServiceNow modules like SecOps , GRC , or Vendor Management .
Familiarity with integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience in AI/ML capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Additional Details
Relocation Support : Open to candidates from other locations willing to relocate to Pune.
Joining Timeline : Immediate joiners or those who can join within 10–15 days will be given preference.
