Position Summary

The Quality Analytical Incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for personal care products. This individual will be responsible for analytical testing, quality validation, and compliance with industry regulations to support the research and development of new products and formulations.

Responsibilities

Quality Control Management:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of third-party manufacturing operations
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.
  • Monitoring and handling customer/consumer complaints

Audits and Compliance: Third-party and warehouse/ Emiza

  • Plan and execute audits of third-party manufacturing facilities to assess compliance with quality standards, regulations, and contractual agreements.
  • Review audit findings, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with manufacturing partners to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Quality Improvement Initiatives

  • Analyse quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training and guidance to manufacturing partners on quality management practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

Documentation and Reporting :

  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of quality control activities, including BMR’s, inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective action plans, Complaint closure action points.
  • Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics, trends, and compliance status.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations CQA to support decision-making processes.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party manufacturing partners, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues and facilitate resolution through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to evaluate and select manufacturing partners based on their quality performance and capabilities.

Analytical Testing

  • Perform and oversee analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods to assess the quality, stability, and performance of personal care products.
  • Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production to support product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Education & Skill Sets Required

  • Education - B.Pharma / M Pharma / BE/ B.Tech / MSc (Chemistry / Microbiology).
  • Working Knowledge of SAP.
  • Should have experience in Wet Chemistry Testing & Instrumental Testing.
