Job Title: Sourcing Manager / Procurement Manager (Cosmetics, Personal Care & Health Products)Location: MumbaiExperience: 4 - 10 years (Cosmetics / Personal Care / Health Supplements / Nutrition preferred)Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWere seeking a cosmetics-focused Sourcing / Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end vendor and supply chain strategy for our premium cosmetics, personal care, and wellness products . You'll identify the right third-party manufacturers and raw material suppliers, manage private label partnerships, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and innovation .This role is ideal for someone who has worked extensively in cosmetics and personal care sourcing , with exposure to nutraceuticals, supplements, or FMCG as an added advantage. You will play a pivotal role in bringing new beauty and wellness SKUs to market , balancing speed, quality, and cost efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Identification & DevelopmentSource and onboard reliable cosmetic raw material suppliers, fragrance houses, active ingredient providers, packaging vendors, and contract manufacturers (domestic & international).Conduct factory audits, compliance checks, and vendor capability assessments.Contract Manufacturing & Private Label ManagementWork with cosmetic and personal care manufacturers to develop new formulations across skincare, haircare, and bodycare.Ensure GMP, ISO, FDA, and cosmetic regulatory standards are met.Build strong partnerships with private label and contract manufacturing partners for scalable production.Procurement & NegotiationLead procurement for raw materials, packaging, and formulations .Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and commercial terms with cosmetic and nutraceutical vendors.Benchmark ingredient costs and packaging innovations across vendors.Regulatory & Quality ComplianceEnsure adherence to cosmetic regulations (FDA, CDSCO, GMP, ISO, Ayush, etc.) and maintain necessary certifications.Liaise with QA/RA teams for product testing, stability studies, and compliance documentation before market launch.Cross-functional CollaborationPartner with New Product Development (NPD), R&D, Marketing, and Operations to bring innovative cosmetic SKUs to life.Align sourcing timelines with beauty product launches and e-commerce go-lives .Supply Chain & Inventory AlignmentCollaborate with supply chain teams to ensure smooth inbound/outbound flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods .Minimize stockouts and excess inventory for cosmetics and nutraceutical lines.Vendor Relationship & Performance ManagementBuild long-term relationships with strategic cosmetic ingredient and packaging suppliers .Track vendor KPIs: delivery timelines, cost competitiveness, quality compliance, and innovation support.Market Intelligence & InnovationStay updated on cosmetic ingredient trends, packaging innovations, and global beauty supplier ecosystems .Share insights with NPD/Marketing to launch differentiated, consumer-first beauty products .Requirements4 - 10 years of sourcing / procurement experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, FMCG, or Health Products .Strong experience working with third-party cosmetic manufacturers, private label suppliers, and raw material vendors .Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, actives, fragrances, and packaging sourcing .Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, ISO, CDSCO) is a strong advantage.Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Commercial acumen with ability to balance cost, quality, and speed .Why Join Us?Play a key role in shaping sourcing strategy for premium cosmetics & personal care .Full ownership of procurement process from vendor identification to e-commerce launch.Exposure to innovative formulations, premium packaging, and global supplier ecosystems .Join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial brand where your impact is immediate and visible.
