Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sourcing Manager located in Mumbai. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying and sourcing building materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of materials. Additional tasks include managing vendor relationships, conducting market research to identify cost-effective and quality suppliers, and maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and expenditures. The Sourcing Manager will also coordinate with project managers to ensure material availability aligns with construction schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience in supplier relationship management
- Proficiency in market research and cost analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
