Technical Manager – RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) / Starline AircraftLocation: HyderabadWe are looking for an experienced Technical Manager for RPA Project with expertise in remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) or Starline aircraft technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing aerospace projects, overseeing technical teams, and ensuring successful project execution. This role requires at least 10 years of experience in aerospace project management and technical knowledge related to aircraft, missiles and international partnerships.Experience :
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the defence and aerospace sectors.Key Responsibilities:· Lead and manage all technical requirements of RPA and Starline aircraft projects , ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, and regulatory standards.· Coordinate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to meet technical requirements and deliverables.· Oversee the design, development, testing, and integration of RPA systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.· Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.· Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, stakeholders, and government agencies.· Manage risk assessment and mitigation efforts, ensuring safety standards are followed.· Review and approve technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.· Provide regular project status updates to senior management.· Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems related to RPA development.· Ensure compliance with airworthiness certifications and aviation regulations.· Act as the main point of contact for technical issues related to RPA projects.· Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, contractors, and vendors.· Manage customer support related technical issues in a timely manner with proactive planning and contributionEducation Qualifications:
• A degree in Engineering / Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and defence regulatory frameworks.Preferred Qualifications :Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.· Master's degree in a related field.Behavioral Skills:· Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.The Technical Manager Role at Adani offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic growth initiatives within the dynamic Defense & Aerospace industry.
