Hiring for Head - SCM & PPC for steel manufacturing industry in Pune location.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES -
Develop & Implement SCM strategies to meet Annual and Monthly Targets
Consolidate Forecast, Control & Net MOQ orders, Plan the manufacturing sequence of product/grade and Release orders as per regional allocation
Implement strategies to reduce Inventory Turnover time; Ensure efficient stocking of critical SKUs as per demand & supply forces.
Optimize Production Lines with correct product mix to have better capacity utilization.
Ensure Production Lines are loaded throughout the week and is executed as per Business Plan.
Reduce idle time of Production Lines and boost its yield.
Material Readiness
Based on priorities, engage with Mill/DCM to integrate it while producing desired RM.
Identify and ensure stock of critical SKUs - customer centric & plant centric
Urgencies/ Casting/ Rolling/ WIP/ FG/ Line loading and Dispatch follow ups
Strengthen communication with Mill/DCM to even out deviations and challenges of supply
Timely updates on RM deliveries to regions
Compliance measurement
Measure RM Readiness from Mill v/s FG on weekly & monthly basis.
Measure Capacity Utilization and Yield of SC Production lines.
Reduction of Aging Stock - dispatch of Aging FG as per Customer Plan and Material Readiness from SC.
Loading of SC Production Lines vs Sales.
MIS
Automation & IT solutions for efficient Planning and effective Reporting.
To publish Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Compliance on Production & Sales.
To publish WIP/FG rolling report and highlight variances.
To publish Stock Turnover and Inventory Readiness month on month.
