Job Title : Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Pune, India
Reports to : Key Account, Director
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This role combines supply chain operations with data analytics to deliver actionable insights that improve efficiency and performance. You will support day-to-day supply chain activities while also assisting in strategic decision-making processes using data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to identify areas for optimization and contribute to transformation initiatives within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Supply Chain Data Reporting:
o Help develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track supply chain performance, including key metrics like on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost efficiency.
o Prepare and present regular reports to senior management to inform decision-making and highlight areas for improvement in the supply chain.
2. Operational Optimization:
o Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies or areas of improvement, providing support in the implementation of corrective actions.
o Assist with initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain operations, including process improvements and cost reduction strategies.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Work closely with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and operations to ensure smooth data flow and accurate interpretation of analytics.
o Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that data insights are easily understood and applied in decision-making.
4. Project Support & Execution:
o Support senior management in executing key projects aimed at improving supply chain performance and aligning operations with organizational goals.
o Participate in supply chain transformation and optimization projects, ensuring data is leveraged effectively for continuous improvement.
5. Data Analytics Support:
o Assist in analyzing key supply chain metrics using business intelligence and data analytics tools to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
o Support the generation of data-driven recommendations to enhance decision-making, optimize performance, and streamline supply chain processes.
o Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, procurement, logistics) to assist in integrating data insights into their daily operations and workflows, ensuring actionable outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics, ideally in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Data Analytics Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or data analytics platforms.
• Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of basic supply chain operations (e.g., procurement, logistics, inventory management).
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and offer solutions that enhance supply chain operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and explain data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and support multiple tasks, ensuring timely delivery of data-driven projects.
