Key Responsibilities

  • Site Supervision & Execution:
  • Oversee all civil works for STP installations—foundations, RCC tanks, brick/block walls, plastering, flooring, and external works.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to design drawings, specifications, and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Monitor workmanship quality, material testing (concrete cubes, soil compaction), and safety practices.
  • Enforce compliance with IS codes (e.g., IS 456, IS 3370) and local building regulations.
  • Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
  • Liaise with Design, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to resolve onsite issues and implement design changes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for civil subcontractors, vendors, and local authorities.
  • Progress Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site diaries, and take "as-built" measurements.
  • Maintain accurate records of material consumption, labor deployment, and quality test results.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits; ensure all site personnel follow HSE protocols.
  • Promptly report incidents and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on site engineering for water/wastewater treatment plants or similar process-industry projects.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of RCC design, formwork, shuttering, and concrete technology.
  • Proficiency in reading civil/structural drawings and CAD.
  • Familiarity with material testing procedures and IS code requirements.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-coordination abilities.
  • Mobility: Willingness to reside near or commute daily to the Gandhinagar site; occasional travel within Gujarat.

Terms & Compensation

  • Probation: 6 months
  • Probation Salary: ₹30,000 per month
  • Post-Confirmation: Competitive salary review upon successful completion of probation
