Job Overview: As a Social Media Strategist at Yocket, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing content strategies across our social media platforms. The role is ideal for a passionate creator with a keen interest in storytelling, staying on top of social media trends, and connecting with audiences authentically. You will play a pivotal role in driving engagement, growing our community, and maintaining a consistent and engaging brand voice. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop original, engaging, and visually appealing content (graphics, videos, posts) that aligns with Yocket’s brand, voice, and goals. Platform Management: Oversee daily activities across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Linked In, ensuring timely and consistent posting, commenting, and sharing. Audience Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction by initiating meaningful conversations. Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using relevant metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and prepare regular reports to assess performance and refine strategies. Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and industry developments to keep Yocket’s content fresh, relevant, and engaging. Collaboration: Partner with the marketing and design teams to ensure social media content is aligned with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns. Campaign Support: Assist with planning and executing both organic and paid social media campaigns, including scripting and content development. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Experience: 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or in a related role. Skills: Strong communication and writing skills. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and platform insights. Creative thinking with an eye for detail and consistency. Must be a creator—active on social media platforms, with a personal interest in creating engaging content and building a following. Preferred: Experience with short-form video creation (e.g., Reels, You Tube Shorts). Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing is a plus.
