We are looking for –Position : Manager/Architect - IT Applications Location : Bangalore Summary: Manager – IT Applications position will be responsible for overseeing projects for Blackbox’s IT department. The Manager application in conjunction with Program / project managers will manage and support ERP like Oracle Fusion, HCM Applications, SAP Callidus, Happay (Expense module) and a few other applications. This position will report to the VP & Head – IT, Bangalore and will be part of the IT Project Management Organization. Essential Functions: Interface with the VP & Head - IT to provide strategic and tactical advice on project, program, and portfolio planning and execution.Manager IT Application directs all activities and develops policies and procedures related to the design, analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Enhances operations by establishing metrics, analyzing processes, and implementing standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an IT Manager oversees review of development proposals, projects, timelines, resources, and costs. Execute feedback processes for peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. IT Manager Application establishes a performance culture by incorporating individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. Manage IT Application budgets, vendor relationships and onsite/ off-shore resources Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.Travel required based on business demandsEducation Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering / B.Tech/ M.Tech Degree.Experience Requirements:12-18 years of experience in handling IT applications Experience in managing Oracle Fusion, HCM Applications, Oracle FCCS, Expense Management, Database Management, Integration Experience, experience in reporting tool such as Power BI Key Role and Responsibilities:Responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration & supporting enterprise applications Provides technical expertise, to include addressing and resolving complex technical issues.Responsible for managing IT Application Managers/Teams.Passion for designing and building highly available distributed web scale systems Ability to learn and grasps concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.Should be able to understand customer requirements and create technical documents such as BRD, Technical design document, Test Cases, System manuals, Training guides.Keep abreast with new technologies / technology upgrades and conduct periodic trainings to technical team.Proficient in Oracle Fusion/ HCM Applications with Different Modules and related cloud based technology systems. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Project plan), Outlook, SharePoint.This job interacts with executive leadership and others concerning matters of significance to the organization, and makes decisions that have a considerable impact on the overall success or failure of their area of accountability. Developing IT application strategies and effective integration of these strategies to meet organization-wide business needs. Represents the organization when selecting IT hardware and software vendors to ensure organization IT needs are met according to cost, performance, delivery, quality, and service standards. Ensures organization-wide IT quality assurance and audits to ensure compliance with defined standards. Directs, motivates, develops and manages the performance of the IT Applications management team and key staff. Should be developing Weekly / Bi-weekly /Monthly review of all IT Applications with Leadership.
