The Deputy Head is responsible for managing aspects of curriculum, staff development, student discipline, and school policies, promoting academic excellence and a positive school culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and School Culture ● Support the Head of School in setting and implementing school-wide policies, goals, and standards. ● Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful school culture that promotes student and staff engagement. ● Serve as a role model for staff and students, demonstrating professionalism and ethical behavior. 2. Academic Oversight ● Oversee curriculum development and implementation, ensuring alignment with school and district standards. ● Monitor and support academic programs to improve student outcomes across K-12 grades. ● Work with department heads and teachers to develop innovative teaching strategies and integrate technology in classrooms. 3. Staff Development and Supervision ● Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating teachers and support staff. ● Conduct regular teacher observations and provide constructive feedback to improve instructional quality. ● Develop and coordinate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. 4. Student Discipline and Support ● Oversee and enforce the school’s discipline policies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. ● Work closely with counselors and support staff to address students’ behavioral, emotional, and academic needs. ● Foster positive relationships with students and encourage leadership and responsibility among them. 5.
