Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Talent Acquisition Manager to join a fast-growing chemical manufacturing startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the industry. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who is comfortable working in a startup environment, where adaptability and creativity are key. You will work closely with leadership to align hiring needs with business goals and ensure we build a team of skilled individuals who drive innovation and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Recruitment Strategies:
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company’s growth and staffing needs.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future hiring needs, especially in technical roles such as chemical engineers, research scientists, and operations staff.
- Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, professional networks, and social media, to source top talent.
- Build a talent pipeline by engaging with potential candidates and maintaining relationships for future opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job ads, conducting interviews, to making offers.
- Employer Branding:
- Promote the company’s brand and culture as a great place to work within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Attend industry events and career fairs to represent the company and attract potential candidates.
- Process Optimization:
- Streamline the recruitment process by implementing best practices and recruitment tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop metrics to measure recruitment effectiveness, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all recruitment processes comply with employment laws and regulations.
- Provide regular reports on recruitment progress, candidate pipeline, and other key metrics to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience recruiting for roles in the chemical or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful recruitment strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruitment platforms.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance in the recruitment process.
Preferred:
- Experience with scaling recruitment efforts in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with roles related to R&D, production, and technical operations within the chemical or manufacturing industries.
