This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, financial acumen, and a proactive partnership approach with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings solid grounding in accounting, FP&A, and statutory compliance, with the ability to lead deliverables through a small team and external partners in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Support the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reviews.Prepare and maintain financial models and reports to support management decision-making.Track and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights to drive business performance.Budgeting & ForecastingDrive the budgeting process across business units and ensure timely and accurate consolidation.Deliver variance analysis, commentary, and actionable recommendations for performance improvement.Partner with department heads to align financial objectives with operational goals.Financial Reporting & ComplianceEnsure accurate accounting, monthly/quarterly book closure, and reporting in compliance with local and global standards.Support statutory audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements in collaboration with internal and external partners.Strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes.Business Partnership & OperationsCollaborate with business leaders to provide financial insights and enable informed decision-making.Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.Support implementation of systems and automation initiatives to streamline finance operations.Team LeadershipGuide and mentor team members to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial deliverables.Foster a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team.Qualifications & ExperienceQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - this is a core requirement for the role.2-5 years of post-qualification experience across accounting, FP&A, or related finance roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.Big4 experience is a plus.Strong understanding of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls.Prior experience in SaaS, technology product, or service-based organizations preferred.Hands-on exposure to financial tools/ERPs (e.g., Quick Books, Tally) will be an advantage.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
