Pangea Talent is a boutique Executive Search firm based in Paris specializing in international talent acquisition between Europe & Asia.
One of our Clients, a Multinational Product Engineering Consultancy, has mandated us with a search for a critical leadership hire in their Bengaluru office. Present in India since 2010, the business has seen robust growth, both organic and inorganic, with about 8000 FTEs in India.
The senior-most position in the delivery organisation the Head of Project and Program Management,reporting directly to the COO, heads a transversal team of Project Directors and Managers.
Team size: 40 people of technical direction team. On project basis handling upto 2000.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE;
·      More than 20 years of professional experience in management of complex Projects ( 25 years would be ideal).
·      Absolute expertise as a Program and Project Manager with relevant, current certifications (PMP,PMI,NPI...)
·      Global experience and leadership roles held for last 15 years atleast.
·      Product Engineering and Technical leadership experience
RESPONSIBLE FOR;
CONTRIBUTING TO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
·      Contribute to the technical positioning strategy of its scope.
·      Technical arbitration of Go/Nogo in the tender phase
ENSURE THE DELIVERY OF PROJECTS
·      Be responsible for achieving the financial objectives of the projects within its scope and thus validate the choices that have a technical and financial impact on the projects.
·      Ensure overall technical responsibility for all deliverables
·      Identify and implement productivity levers on projects.
·      Be responsible for the relationship with the sales teams, customer relations and customer satisfaction in all aspects of the projects.
·      Supporting sales managers in their business development activities (from pre-sales to delivery, including internal reviews of tenders and approval of offers).
MANAGING YOUR DEPARTMENT
·      Anticipate recruitment needs and actively participate in the recruitment of its employees
·      Manage all the Project Managers and Project Directors within the scope of the project and to put them in a position to succeed.
·      Define the organisation of its department/area to meet the strategic challenges defined by the Management.
·      Be the guarantor of the training and development of the technical skills of the project teams under its responsibility.
·      Present regular internal reports (technical and financial) to the Director to whom he/she reports
·      Be a driving force for the continuous improvement of the organisation and processes of the Technical Department and to participate in the support of change.
·      To be the Technical Department's reference for all aspects of its scope (commercial, technical, legal, financial, etc.).
