The Sales Engineer will be the expert in Whatfix product(s). He/She will assist Sales in presenting the value proposition and benefits of the Whatfix solution to prospects. Partner with the sales team to deliver tailored product demonstrations , technical presentations , and proof-of-concepts (POCs) . Support and respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate and compelling technical content. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs. Provide consultative guidance throughout complex sales cycles, helping prospects envision successful outcomes. 3+ years in Presales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting , or related technical roles. ~ Strong foundation in web technologies : HTML5, CSS3 (including Grid, Flexbox, and animations), and JavaScript (ES5, ES6+). ~ Previous hands-on development experience or background in web/software development . ~ A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred. ~ Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences , including senior decision-makers. ~ Experience working with SaaS products or implementing enterprise software solutions. ~ Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, or events (domestic and occasional international travel required). Understanding of SaaS business models and performance-focused platforms. Prior experience in digital adoption , user engagement platforms , or enterprise SaaS tools is a plus.
