Purpose of the JobThe purpose of the job role is to assist in the management of the organization’s indirect tax compliance and advisory activities. The role involves providing guidance and advice to clients on best practices for managing their GST obligations. This includes working directly with clients to assess their indirect tax obligations and to develop strategies for optimizing their indirect tax outcomes.Work ResponsibilityClient engagement- respond and resolve within time, Ensuredeliverables (technical and non-technical) execution, Responsibleforcoordinationandcompletionofassigned tasks. Good technical skills, Expertise in Indirect Taxation that includesCompliance, Advisory and Departmental representation/Litigation, having both Working knowledge & extensive practical exposure ofIndirect Taxation that includes Service Tax, VAT and other statetaxesandextensiveknowledgeofGST.ThismayincludefacetsofReviewofmonthlytaxcomputationsunderGSTGST AnnualReturnandAuditReportProvideGSTadvicetoteammembers,CustomersandSuppliers,adviseontaximplicationsfornewbusinessdeals etc.Handling Indirect Tax Litigations, routine notice, SCNs,departmentalauditsProactivelyhandledaytodayqueries fromclientsEnsure timely planning and completion of activities againstdeadline.Team Management Technical / Functional / Soft Skills RequiredProject Management, Reporting Skills, Verbal Communication,Administrative &Writing Skills.ITSkills (MSoffice, Word,Excel, PowerPoint &Outlook)Efficiencyat MSoffice, Tally(mandatory)Ability to adapt and learn quickly, progressively take on new responsibility.Positive attitude, ability to maintain confidentialityregarding sensitiveinformation,Organized, ableto handlemultiple tasksat one time.
