Responsibilities -
- Sound understanding and hands-on experience of security solutions such as Web Application Firewall, Database Access Monitoring, Network/Host/Email APT, Privilege Identity Access Management, Mobile Device & Application Management, Encryption, 2 Factor Authentication, Network Access Control, and Data leakage prevention solution.
- Handle the Disaster Drill, monitor the plan, ensure the DR is as per the plan, and highlight the learnings.
- Monitoring networks and systems for potential security threats and breaches.
- Performing periodic assessment of all security solutions.
- Daily review of reports from Security solution and ensure resolution from the team.
- Subject matter expertise on all information security processes and maintain all technology according to required standards as per best practices & regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of SIEM, rule/report/alert creation, and managing the resolutions.
- Ensuring VA & PT closure as per the target timelines.
- Performing security audits and compliance tests.
- Analyzing and reporting security incidents and issues.
- Recommending changes on security tools and processes.
- Implementing of IS policy.
Qualifications & Required Skills -
- Minimum 10 years of experience in information Security Policy implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or an advanced diploma in network security.
- Extensive experience in Network & network security.
- Areas of expertise should include a sound knowledge of Microsoft and Linux servers, network switches, Firewalls, WiFi devices, virtualization, and security devices.
- Knowledge of the latest penetration software is essential.
- Need to have computer programming experience and familiarity with a range of different programming languages.
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification would be added advantage.
- He / she must also develop new and innovative strategies that enable them to identify problems with the security systems they work on.
- In depth knowledge in infrastructure and should also have knowledge on General Insurance operation.
