Role, Purpose, and Scope:
The key role of a Voice Accent Trainer is to help employees improve their pronunciation, enunciation, voice modulation, as well as listening and speaking skills. They are responsible for effective facilitation and implementation of training programs relating to accent neutralization and communication skills for new and existing employees.
Functional Performance
Deliver comprehensive training to improve pronunciation, speech clarity, and accent neutrality for effective verbal communication to customer-facing employees for all business verticals.
Evaluate language skills and customize training programs to help employees achieve higher language proficiency levels.
Incorporate cultural nuances and context into training to promote cross-cultural understanding and respectful communication.
Develop verbal communication skills, including active listening, effective speaking, and nonverbal cues.
Assess the performance of new hires and current employees, provide guidance and feedback for enhancement, and maintain records while coaching on performance and attendance concerns.
Design personalized training plans tailored to each employees’ needs, learning style, and goals.
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, progress reports, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with HR, TAG, Training team, and management to address specific training requirements and align with organizational goals.
Establish a continuous improvement feedback loop by seeking input from trainees and adjusting training methods accordingly.
Compile reports outlining training performance and progress for each employee.
Participate and meet initial and on-going client trainer certification requirements.
Follow department and client procedures including, but not limited to, daily attendance, facilitation standards, and graduation.
Consistently promote integration of best practices and leading trends
Support change management and communication efforts for transformation projects
Engage with relevant support partners to improve processes, systems and tools which will remove operational barriers.
Foster an environment of respect, inclusion, and sensitivity while training individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Develop communication assessment tools in line with project’s goals and metrics.
Proactively develop activities or modules to supplement existing programs or initiatives.
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of adult learning theory principles and able apply in a 1:1 or in a group training setting.
Training Design and Development
Responsible for content research, training, outline creation, development of training evaluation measures, training materials development, knowledge assessment and test design
Identify other non-traditional performance improvement initiatives to address knowledge, skills, practices, and overall training effectiveness gaps.
Work with the operations, training, and quality teams to identify performance gaps related to communication skills.
Analyze performance gaps and provide recommendations to meet target metrics.
Skills:
Order Management with Telecom experience preferred
Training Delivery and Classroom Management Skills
Adult Learning Styles and Strategies
Coaching and Mentoring skills
Module and Assessment Development
Strong analytical thinking/skills
Ability to assess issues, define causes, and prioritize/execute solutions – problem solving skills.
Proven/demonstrated self-initiative, ability to work independently & in team environment, self-motivated and results oriented.
Strong presentation, listening, organizing, and planning skills; Highly proficient in time management, planning & prioritization.
Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
